It is some of the best tv ever made I reckon. Utter quality which hasn't diminished as the series progress unlike lots of other tv.
I'm actually rewatching all old series, just finished 1 and 2 and will start 3 tonight.

Took a break last night. - Series 5 over the weekend. The writers are great at leaving each episode on a cliffhanger - which makes binge watching a very real risk. I feel manipulated, but don’t seem to mind! Chapeaux to the writers and producers.

Jackson has some fantastic lines.
I’m desperate to crowbar the “The five F’s” into an everyday interaction. Proper LOL one liners.

Deep Water. It was in the top 10 the other day so thought I'd give it a go. That's 90 mins wasted. What utter shite. If they didn't have the iconic Jaws movie to rip ideas from, there would barely have been any film. The script seemed to be written by AI who's first language wasn't English. I hope they get sued for making such a dross film.

Prince of Darkness is mint.

So is Escape from LA, you just need to see them for what they are.

The Ward wasn't great I suppose, but it had moments.

have to admit I love Prince of Darkness too  but alot of JC fans just dont like it for some reason when is like Assault on Precinct 13 crossed with the Fog , I still think Escape from LA is trash though

A Vigilante... on Netflix.

It is a dark and brutal film about a woman on a mission, which is to help victims of abuse escape their abusers.

It does not look or sound like a typical Hollywood movie. The production quality and acting are fantastic.

There is of course a doubt that a slim young woman could wreak such physical havoc, but somehow I believed it. And the b*st*rds got what they deserved... (not that I approve of sidestepping the law, you understand!)

“That Sinking Feeling” at the Glasgow Film Theatre.

I smiled a few times and laughed only twice.

Apparently Bill Forsyth’s (Gregory’s Girl, Local Hero etc) first film, shot in 1979, and the lowest ever budget for a UK film. It showed.

It looked like it was shot on a potato and the acting wasn’t even local church drama club level. Wooden acting with robotic delivery.

But loads of people around me were laughing their heads off so what do I know?

3/10
Harsh. I'd give it a solid 6/10

Still has me in stitches after all these years

Priceless. Noel Coward steals the show, but Raf Vallone runs him close with his brief screen time.

One of the bonding experiences - watching The Blues Brothers with my daughters when they were young - totally rapt with the music, the slapstick and above all the endless succession of car crashes.
