I like pretty much everything on this thread, other than sago, which I've never had so reserve judgment, and eyes, which again I've never had, but would certainly not be keen to try. I was brought up to 'try a little bit', in the hopes that it would broaden my palate. Seems to have worked.
My youngest encountered anchovies for the first time this week, on a pizza I made. Her face kind of folded in...she shuddered, then made that reck-reck-reck noise cats make when they're bringing up a hairball...ran across the kitchen and ripped off a square of paper towel, spat into it and threw it to the other end of the room. "They call that FOOD?" she croaked. "I don't think she likes the anchovies," I said to 'er indores, who looked sympathetic. She hates them too.
