Attempted to return a fiver that was wrapped with the receipt to the person that had dropped it but failed. Got told what I could do with myself.

Does attempting count?

Fast and careful!
Did a forty miler yesterday and was dry most of the way,but when it did rain it poured down, coming round a bend behind a national trust estate known for unseasoned riders, rider down with puncture, stopped in rain mended puncture and made sure their, injuries were ok ,I always stop even in a car if a cyclist has stopped and looking concerned,as they say the wheel is round it may be you or yours next time

I stopped in the road this morning to allow an articulated lorry carrying bricks to reverse through a narrow gateway into a builders' yard. It's a really tricky entrance to get into. By the time it was safely in, there was a decent queue of traffic behind me. Cost me maybe 2 minutes in all and got me a cheerful thankyou from the driver.

Just call me Chris...
My good deed score is quite high at the moment. Mate had his bike stolen Saturday evening so I've given him one of mine.
Another mate crashed his motorcycle and I've just packaged him up a spare wing mirror to send him to help get him back on the road.

Saw an elderly neighbor struggling to bring their dustbin in from the curb, so offered and proceeded to bring it in for them.

Resurrecting an old thread I'd forgotten about, I did a good deed yesterday!
Well, it was a mini good deed, but it was a good deed nonetheless....

..... I saved a beetle from being stood on earlier!! I took it to a plant where, hopefully it got itself sorted out and flew to somewhere a bit safer!

I accompanied a nervous friend to work by bike to demonstrate that it is feasible for her to do it. Part of that commute involves a 5 minute walk with the bike up a 20% road ...

(That's her walking up the road another time without the bike!)

Despite that obstacle, it is still quicker than catching the bus and walking to and from the bus stops. It took us 25 minutes to get to her workplace, but she got home in 5 minutes after work!

(I know that she won't do the cycle commute in the winter, or in bad weather, but it does give her the option when she feels like it.)

It's not really my good deed, but earlier i got a call from my uncles mobile phone, but it was actually an elderly lady who had found his phone and found our number on it to let us know he'd dropped it and that he could pick it up from her. When we rang him to let him know, he hadn't even realised he'd dropped it! So he's lucky she found it & was nice enouth to get in contact. My aunt & uncle bought her some flowers to say thank you

I found an iPhone in a local pub a couple of months ago so I handed it in at the bar in case anybody came looking for it.

About 10 minutes later an old man and a boy walked in and started looking around about the table where I'd found the phone. I asked the old fella if he'd lost something and he said he thought he might have dropped his phone there earlier in the day. He was pretty happy when I said the bar staff had it by the till.

He'd been on a day trip from Leeds with his grandson and was just about to get on the train home when he'd noticed that the phone was missing.
