Harsh isn't it. I used to volunteer at a big animal sanctuary and the day I finally relented and went to look at the cats I took home three! Fourteen years later they're still in rude health. I'm pleased to report that despite the fact we have a baby we don't turf the cats out, now that the baby can crawl the cats stay out of reach

Thursday going up into westfield from Meridian Square on the escalator, the young girl (4 ish) in front dropped her carrier bag with a book in . she turned round to reach it and she leaned too far . i could see it starting to happen and ran up the escalator and caught her just as gravity started to overcome. her grandma couldn't say thank you enough.

lovely warm fuzzy feeling inside for the next hour or so.

I found one of the hardest parts of becoming an adult is the realisation that I'm normal. Very disappointing after being teenager.

Went round to my mum's and put the castors on her TV unit... she doesn't move the TV round the room- she just wanted castors on it, and ate a piece of her chocolate cake ['ulp, makes Mrs Cropley's creations sound attractive] +fixed her door bell chimes, again.

We had family friends come round yesterday and one of their grandsons is mad keen about trains, so, I gave them all the various bits and pieces I had been collecting for him to them to give to him later on.

Tomorrow (today) I plan to change the fishes' water and clean their tanks out as well as give them some medication for various things. Oh and before anyone ask, yes, I do know about water chemistry and all that and I know how to do it all properly, don't worry!

The buckets are there waiting as I type....

Of course, since starting this thread, I realise that I am now actively looking for a good deed or deeds to do every day now no matter how big or small, which, surely can't be a bad thing, and if it gets other people on here thinking the same then, all the better!
