Is it a 10 speed? If so then you can leave it until 0.75%, 11+ and best to replace at 0.5% wear.

Its an 11sp, I've not had a problem replacing it in the past at 0.75% touchwood 🤞 and its saw 38,000miles . Googling around says although some people (like me run to 0.75%) the ideal is 0.5% looks like I need a new chain checker. I already have a new chain I'll probably fit it at the weekend, more fettling fun to look forward too :-)

A puncture

Left work at just turned 20:00

Got onto Birkwood Road, & the rear started feeling a bit bouncy
By The Robin Hood, it was definately making itself known
I managed to ride as far as Lee Brigg, & then decided to walk the mile or so home

Left bike in the basement, whilst I got changed/had some food/pot of tea

It was grotty, & a good job that that basement room is tiled!!

Nothing to be found in the tyre, but it's way past its best!!!, a Marathon (DD?), if it was on a car, there'd be an immediate prohibition order on it, as there's (probably) less that 0.5mm of tread

Adjusted the brakes on a new bike and after more time I dare to confess the bar tape and I decided that the wrapping is not good, but we can live with it.
