I've watched the video now. There were lots of comments and the overall verdict there was: angle the hoods - yes, but subtly, not to the extreme angle shown in the video.

I'm ahead of my time then, I did that years ago!

As the weather doesn't look great tomorrow I've pulled my Zwift bike* out of storage and thrown on a pair of summer wheels. A few adjustments needed as it's not been used for a while, plus some rear brake pads as I'd removed them.

* It's the only bike that currently has mudguards apart from my newly-upgraded Ridgeback Platinum, which I won't be using as it needs a test ride first. And yes, my indoor training bike is mudguard-equipped along with clip-on TT bars.

Just starting to clean these up. Anyone able to direct me to a site which has nice hoods for them, Thanks.

Today’s ride rained off so decided to change the oil in the rohloff. It’s always quite a relaxing job, adding cleaning oil, a 5 min ride in gears 3 and 5 then leave it to drain while having a cuppa before topping backup with rohloff hub oil. Ive done it annually in September since 2006 but I had the seals replaced last March including an oil change, so decided to split the difference this year.

As long as I breathe, I attack.
Just replaced the chainset on the weigh cx build as the 46 tooth outer was to small for me so i swapped it for a spare chainset i stripped off another bike .
I can get another chainring eventually the right size but why waste money when i have the right one in the spares bin ?

I put them on my OH's gravel bike when I re-built that up, as she rarely does anything gnarly, so thought they were grippy enough for any offroad but would be decent on road. Then I got jealous of them...so got a pair for mine

I also fitted my new Look Xtrack pedals, buttery smooth axles. maybe test them tonight

So did a proper test on sunday of the Panaracer gravelking plus SS semi Slicks.

Given the rain on Saturday, some of the offroad stuff was a bit wet, also did a couple of short sharp offroad climbs. I'm mega impress with the grip from the seemingly minimal tread, and the run great on the tarmac too!
