Nothing as neat as the seatpost clamp above or that's required any skill !

Telescopic seatpost:

The mudflat was from a mousemap. I should have made it longer in retrospect, and will do when I get sick of wet feet. The seatpost extension was made from a seattube ordered from a framebuilders supplier. It would have been cheaper to take a hacksaw to an old frame - the diameter is the standard 27.2mm internal, 28.6mm external. It's not truely telescopic - the 400mm seatpost overlaps the frame by about 9cm anyhow - but this setup has much less flex, and is possibly safer, than the previous situation of having only 9cm of post inserted.

An Enix 15v 4x 18650 battery pack mounted on the bike...tremendously good lights, ive actually been spoken to a couple times by other cyclists,,,where did you get them from ?

Against all that is supposedly sensible, I made another 4x 18650 pack myself from a scrap laptop battery...

Excellent runtime. 7 years later, both complete sets are still working, in fact, this winter I fired one set up well over a year since it was put away. I didn't charge it....it instantly lit up and stayed lit for a couple hours.

I accept no responsibility for anyone attempting to do as I did....:okay:
