What I like about Cycle Chat.

Like many CCs I joined as I had "got into" cycling and realised I knew nothing about bikes or cycling (fitness/nutrition etc.). As a beginner I had loads of questions and found that whatever the (sensible) question I got so much help. I still see this with other beginners as well as myself.
This is the same on CC Cafe where people ask for help on any number of subjects and get help/advice.
WOW......I can even offer (limited) advice myself.
I know there are some responses that are a bit abrasive but in general it is well intenioned.
So........that is my thinking and I hope others agree.

I too have learnt a lot on here, especially that @vernon is a pie maker supremo, @User14044 owns the Oyster Bay Vineyard in New Zealand,@The Velvet Curtain can sew and make furry animals and @potsy has been seen on a bike @hopless500 told me.

Seriously i have learnt lots even on the arguement thread and i have met some great friends on here.
