What is the most vile tasting commercial alcoholic drink?

Last night I had a tiny sip of Lithuanian balsam mead, Riga Black Balsam. Its vileness surpassed that of Gammel Dansk by several magnitudes. I thought that my pal was faking the unpleasantness of the stuff when he retched after a mustard spoonful. I had a half teaspoonful and spent the next ten minutes trying to nullify the sensory explosion in my mouth.

Humans shouldn't be knowingly exposed to this liquid.

I was convinced that a pal was trying to poison me when I first tasted Gammel Dansk but I grew to love it and enjoying glugging it with some Norwegian folk dancers at a Scandinavian folk festival in Settle five or so years ago.

I can not foresee me ever volunteering to taste the Balsam mead again.
