Stroh is a fairly horrible taste but as it's 80% abv you don't really taste that much. It's just a burning sensation as it goes down your throat.

I like Calvados too. This thread is throwing up the differences in taste between people. And I've never had the thing of being "drunk again" on Ouzo, I'd always assumed that was urban myth.
