£1700 but I wouldn't get that now, probably more like £800 given that it's done nigh on 5000 miles in the last year.
I am seriously considering, however, the 2012 Moda Stretto at some point, which is just over the 2k mark and that would be the absolute maximum I would pay for anything that I would use competitively, but also because I know it would be more than good enough also for sportives, club rides, and if I'm honest, what I love most - long hours in the saddle, alone.
As others have pointed out, the advantage at my level between spending 1 and 2k or 5/ 6k is not worth it, period.
