So it's more of a white water ride for them and then the long trek back to the log cabin.

Yeah, if you put them in the toilet and flush, they'll probably survive.

Tbh, I find it hard to care about the fate of woodlice as I'm not entirely convinced the concept of suffering means much to them, but I do wonder about the mental health of anyone who gets their kicks from torturing them.

When I go to feed our cat l salute and say "attention" and he sits down beside his dish.
Then "hup" and he stands on his back legs and head buts the satchet of food.
Then he gets fed. :hungry:
When he wants out we say help me open the door and he puts his paw round the door and (thinks) he pulls it open. :giggle:

If I'm in a good mood I give spiders a chance by liberating them on the patio, before calling 'chick chick chick.'

Otherwise the extermination squad are summoned first.

I did consider training Lemmy as a SAR dog. He'd be well suited to it with his nose, endurance and intelligence. Unfortunately, the training is a huge commitment in time and a significant amount of driving, so I never went for it in the end.

Is there any way to make reference to the learning opportunity to use an apostrophe correctly, without sounding like an eejit?
