Can you come and spend 6 months in my house, please? The whole thing is not in working order.

Certainly. I charge £150/hr for my services...

Puzzle game procrastinator!
Hill walking, mainly round the Hebden Bridge area though I'd like to do some proper mountain walking too. Not extreme stuff though - I really don't like heights so exposed walks like Sharp Edge on Blencathra would be a big no no for me!

I've got a couple of guitars but have never really practised enough to become a skilled player. I'd like to make the effort to learn before I end up too deaf and/or arthritic to play properly. Funnily enough, I actually put about 40 minutes in this morning which is more than I've done for ages.

I've written some computer puzzle games. They are currently Windows-specific but I'd like to rewrite them as web applications and introduce them to the world. One in particular, I'd like to use for prize competitions. If I ever do, I'll do a trial run here on CycleChat and offer some inexpensive bike kit as prizes. (I asked Shaun [Admin] ages ago if that would be okay and he said it probably would be.)

I spend most of my time trying to earn money on t'Interweb by various means. Not hugely successful so far, but I'm slowly getting there.

I'll do it for £125/hr - and I've heard that tyred does a rubbish job.

If this keeps going, I'll have volunteers by the end of the day!

Long term loafer
Mainly rugby. Had to give up playing last year due to a bad back and have moved into coaching this season. Absolutely loving it. Keeps me invloved with the sport and giving something back to my club and most importantly it gets me out of the house every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

I usually have some major DIY project on. I converted my house from a derelict chapel and have now built a garage, conservatory and kitchen onto it. I had 1,000 bricks left over and I am now in the middle of turning them into a Victorian style garden wall with an arch and gate in it.

I paint mainly in acrylics and did try marketing some artworks when I was between jobs. Also about two thirds of a way through writing a novel which I am aiming to finish this winter.

Hill walking seems popular on this thread – off to Lyme Regis to trudge up Golden Cap this weekend. This and cycling is often rolled into a camping holiday in the summer.

A bit of Gardening, chopping up logs and I will admit to spending some time watching TV. Generally I only watch comedies and the odd drama (not the ones on at 9pm on Sundays though).

Kids are now teenagers so suddenly we have gone from 12 years of running around for them and being there for them to trying to stay out of their way.

What a great topic!

Mine's watching Stockport County live and watching any other kind of football on tv. Amusing my kids, I'm a dodgy DJ at the weekends. Oh, and I just love getting p*ssed! Surprised no one else has put that!

I'm afraid I 'outed' myself a long time ago, so no point in going over old ground skies...
Another thread here indisputably 'outs' me on the 'mushrooming' front, so nothing new there either...

What have I left? Dusting bashing the ivories? Butterfly-watching?
