At least that’s what I have on everything (but Brompton)
Possibly not what you mean by “flat”.
They are quite wide, which I like as my feet are attached at the wrong angle.
I use toeclips - not liking clipless due to my feet again.

Up to you, but I'm not keen on pedals with pins - I find then uncomfortable.

But you're meant to wear shoes before you go out on your pushbike.

And dry your hair too before you catch your death.

I like the MKS Sylvan and the like pretty well. They have enough size to fit my feet,15EEEE, and are a good compromise. I can't clip in either, as my big ole feet would run into the spokes on clipping out, but these work well for my cycling shoes and are capable of being regreased and maintained. I have some really old ones, as well as some clones.

Good shout, that's what I'll go for. Large colour choice!

Have a look at the Welgo range too... same style as DMRs but often cheaper (and better, IMO).

Thing i like abut that style of pedal is they work with any shoes, baseball boots, hiking boots, work shoes, trainers, wellies... never had my foot slip off 'em

Yeah I'm with @MontyVeda, the Wellgo copy of the DMR V8 is just as good but quite a bit cheaper. I've used both and can't tell the difference once you're on the bike.

Great pedals if you want to go for something with pins.
