Despite the fact that I can rebuild hubs perfectly fine, it has to be the task that I least look forward to as everything tends to end up in a greasy mess which then needs to be cleaned up! Perhaps I should invest in a grease gun...

Clearing out the back gutters ...it's scarily high on our wobbly ladder
Its scarily high on a good ladder
An old neighbour and friend Dennis (who's now passed on) watched me clearing my gutters one day...'i'll borrow your ladders when you've finished and do mine...our gutters connect, we'll both benefit' he said. I wash windows off ladders, decorate etc etc i'm quite happy on ladders...but climb that extra 4 ft and deal with the overhang, i wasnt comfortable at all.
I think Dennis thought the same as he watched me....he then said...'hmm, perhaps another day :surrender:'

People who play 12 strings spend half of their life tuning their guitar and the other half playing a guitar that is out of tune

Hmmmmm.. raelly thought about what bike related repair job I don't like. And I can't think of anything.
I just love fettling bikes.
Love taking them to bits and seeing how they work.

'Spose repairing a puncture in crappy weather.
But no one would like that.

Cleaning all the scum and hairs out of the shower drain every six months... makes me heave.

Then wheel bearings - complete PITA.

Oops! just re-read the OP sorry.

Jobs I hate the most, well putting the bins out for the dustman after the wife has filled them to the brim, 85 yards of gravel driveway does not help. I know I should hard pave it someday but I am sure that would break the bank.

Be careful with what you say.

I knew someone who hated putting bins out for the bin men. He got barred from here.....

i was thinking specifically bicycle repair tasks but carry on... we all like a good whine
I missed that - as I never do any work on my bike!
