1. Screw the adjuster out about half-way
2. Install brake blocks so that they are hard against the rim (putting a piece of thin card between the rim and the rear end of the block for slight toe-in optional)
3. Tighten up nuts holding blocks
4. Screw adjuster back in, thereby moving blocks away from rim to distance of choice.
5. Notice the blocks are no longer in the same position they were in at the end of step two
6. Screw the adjuster out about half-way

11. Screw the adjuster out about half-way
12. Install brake blocks so that they are hard against the rim (putting a piece of thin card between the rim and the rear end of the block for slight toe-in optional)
13. Tighten up nuts holding blocks
14. Screw adjuster back in, thereby moving blocks away from rim to distance of choice.
15. Notice the blocks are no longer in the same position they were in at the end of step twelve.
16. Get drunk instead.
17. Return to step one slightly tipsy.
