Im sure the crud gaurds would be ok but there just wasnt enough clearance for them on both of my road bikes, i guess it comes down to individual bike shapes etc :biggrin:

I used Crud road race for ages on my commuter. They work perfectly well :smile:

Indeed – I think the 3.5 is a tight at the fork despite having fixings for proper mudguards... I didn't have a 4mm allen key to hand, but it certainly looks like it shouldn't be a problem getting the Roadracers fitted though :unsure:

Yep it can be an initial faff to get them setup 'just right'. I would have a look on You Tube for vids of them being fitted and adjusted. Infact I am pretty sure one of the offical CRUD vids, shows the inventor installing a set onto a Trek madone, with very limited clearance between brakes and tyre.
