What TV are you watching?

I watched some last night and was really disappointed or maybe frustrated (turned off after a bit as so frustrating). I spent several months travelling the area they were in and each place I was thinking "they'll be there for a week there is so much to see there" and they were moving on next day!. Missing so much amazing stuff just daft.

No, it's in, out, gone. They have to decide if they want to experience the place or get motoring. If they are running out of cash, there are pre-arranged 'work' options to earn a few quid, or get a bed/meal for the night.

Watched two episodes of Dept Q on Netflix last night, seems pretty decent. A bit of a Slow Horses vibe, misfits in a different department solving crime. So far so good though.

speaking of which, I watched the 2009 series of "Day of the Triffids". Starring Joely Richardson and Douggray Scott. Quite good. Quite dated. A bit boring and a bit silly. ok it wasn't that good.

After finishing Deutschland 83 I'm now almost at the end of 86, well worth a watch if you've not seen them before.

We loved the Deutschland trilogy - I lived in Germany from 1978-81 and the ‘83 series in particular brought back some of the Cold War fears and memories I have of the time.
