"Eurythmics on the BBC" on bbc4.

So many classic tunes, what a singing voice Annie had as well as a very photogenic face.

Excellent live shows too!
Well, around 40 years ago. Don't know about today.

The Isle Of Man TT programmes are set to record in the late evenings, this week

Plus, there's the When Bruce Springsteen Came To Britain set to record this evening, unless I watch it instead?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002d3jr

Excerpt from it; https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0lffm43
Michael Palins memories of the show; https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0lffggj

There was a Micheal Palin monologue called 'Biggles goes to see Bruce Springsteen' which the internet seems to suggest comes from 'Comic Relief' but I think it's earlier as I seem to remember it from 'The Secret Policeman's Ball' in the late 70's but like 'The 4 Yorkshiremen' there could be multiple versions done on stage.

the documentary last night was very good.
Palin kept a diary which recounted the first gig at Hammersmith Odeon. He’s clearly a mega fan.

Springsteen does seem like a genuinely humble guy, as far as possible, given his mega star status.

The actress wasn't above having it away with the better looking pick of her fans. Fair play, you only live once.

Blakes7 had some decent scripts offtimes and some decent actors. With some proper investment in sets and effects it could have been something else. A 21st century feature film reboot, perchance? Michael Fassbender as Kerr Avon? Dave Bautista as Gan? Sadly I expect we'll never see it happen.

Watched the last episode of This city is ours today and have enjoyed it.

Code of silence is drawing to a conclusion tomorrow pm

I thought This City of Ours was a bit meh.
Came over as a bit low budget, certainly compared to likes of Mobland which finished last night and was fantastic. Series 2 is rumoured to be happening.
