Watched part 1 of The Veil last night

I expected it to be confusing with Elizabeth Moss as we are also watching HandMaid's tale

She looks very similar - lighter hair but other wise pretty much the same -and sounds the same
but her body language and the way she talks
and the script
make it very different in a strange way

not sure where it is going - which is good

Just finished watching Mix Tape on BBC/iplayer, found it very compelling. A worthwhile watch.

We're halfway through; I'm finding the central characters very likable, but the writing seems to be dragging some things out waaaay too slowly, and the two spouses are painted rather 1-dimensionally as the baddies in the relationships. So it's rather irritating me - feels like a 6/10 that could be a 9!!

Take your time watching it as it goes in a flash...you know something's that good when you think Damn wish I'd saved a couple of episodes !

I will never get tired of "Fishes".

One of the greatest bits of television I've ever seen.

Really enjoying Karen Pirie season 2.
It might be that it's been delayed for so long or that it features locations from holidays of my youth that's making me gush, but I stayed up way past my bed time to watch it.

Haven't timed it but I actually think you get fewer ads watching via the ITVX app.
I had a fever dream about being called for jury duty then being held in contempt of court for calling out Domino hoo hoo.

I'm quite good at abandoning TV series midway through. Most recent one was Dexter, especially once I realised there were several sequels/prequels that all involved different subscriptions to watch.

Her English accent's a bit of a caricature, not as good as Gwyneth Paltrow's.

Agreed. I stuck Dexter out to the end of the first series then gave up completely.
