Just binge watching Banjo’s and Jo’s Grand Island Hotel renovation. Banjo won interior grand masters and is an Australian who lives on the Isle of Mull.
So far myself and Mrs W are wetting our selves laughing as well as being in awe of some the renovations.
Mrs W is a massive fan of interior grand masters.

I'm off work with a virus and have just found Lost on ITVX, it's been years since I watched it all so looking forward to bingeing though it.

Have forgotten most of the plot, but I do remember it mostly gets resolved with a few obvious plot holes and unanswered questions. The flashbacks and eventually side stories set off island are an interesting plot device that I don't think has been done as well since.

I also remember and am looking forward to the sheer number of actors that pop up in this, that have since become big favourites of mine.

Probably my absolute favourite show, despite it's many frustrating episodes and some atrocious plot holes that never got explained 🤣
Was so into it at the time, would like to watch it again at some point but the weeks it would take...maybe not

Another fan of Banjo here, in our case from watching the fabulous Scotland’s Home of the Year. Have only watched the first episode of the Hotel Renovation so far, looks good. Might have to go and stay in it once it’s done !

I think I've only watched it once, currently upto Locke and Boone starting to muck around with 'The Hatch'. Spent ages discussing that with friends what might possibly be inside. And for me I think this show was the real definition of a 'water cooler show' as we spent so much time at work going over and over our theories.

I'm surprised though how often the main characters spend hitting each other and fighting, seems their natural reaction to any disagreement is to start swinging lol.

Started to watch Shogun, two episodes in and so far it's excellent. I read the book back in the day and that was really good.

Wasn't there one with Richard Chamberlain in the 80s ? I remember it being a thing but I had comics to read.

On episode 4 (of 6) of La Promesse (série télévisée, 2021) https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Promesse_(série_télévisée,_2021)
Really enjoying it. Well made, good story, etc.

Been on my Freeview box for ages, orginally recorded back in the days when BBC4 was showing some good stuff (rather than just old repeats ...)

You've played a blinder there, it's currently available seemingly nowhere on any uk streaming service.

I presume you are familiar with all the foreign series on the C4 app / Walter presents?
Some absolute gems on there, also the odd dud, but I'd say there's about a 75/25 split to be fair, and even the substandard ones are generally still entertaining.
One I will say to completely avoid is Fatal Crossing - it was shockingly bad.
Happy to recommend some series if you want :-)

Archer, I've just discovered this (very) adult cartoon on Netflix.

It's about a group of secret agents who sometimes do work for the CIA, very funny but not one to watch with your grandma. 😂
