Finally got round to finishing off Deutschland 89, some surprises, and a few predictable bits to end it, it's a shame there's not going to be any more of it.

I was confused enough with the mention of a second series of Ridley !

Ridley/Ripley easy mistake.

Is this a cry for help?

Operation Dark Phone: Murder by Text

Nonsense title aside this was fascinating, it's about a police operation that was being fed information from French police from an encrypted phone system used by criminals worldwide. It tells 4 main stories/investigations that were broken open by the level of information they were getting.

Alien: Earth

Continues to be a gem, Timothy Olyphant is probably my favourite so far. Adrian Edmonson also gets actual lines and a proper scene, rather than just standing in the background looking stern. Hopefully they set it up so he can fight a Xeno with a cricket bat and a frying pan lol.

On a more serious note there are things starting to appear that (some) people online are complaining breaks the known continuity (in their opinion). I say wait till the end to see how it goes and honestly, Earth is not fleshed out much in the other Alien films so almost anything goes AFAIC.

I think Alien:Earth really good so far and very much sticking with original film from the scenery to the foreboding background music. The claustrophobic atmospheric setting of inside the crashed spaceship is right along original lines. It's how it expands as and when they go further afield. I'm taking a punt and saying the aliens end up running amok on the Prodigy island base at some stage.

Anyway, so far so very good is my verdict after watching two episodes. I've E3 to watch tonight.

Alien Earth, I'm loving how the Lost Boy's are reverting to acting like the kids they actually are in both stressful and non stressful situations. Great writing and direction.
I keep thinking Adrian Edmonson is going to blurt out 'Have We Got A Video!'.
An all round great series so far.

I've read a theory for the Prodigy Island that (spoiler tag as its a theory)

The Prodigy Island gets nuked which is why Weyland Yutani sends the Nostromo to get the Alien (in Alien) as they lose all their samples

Not so much watching as remembering watching..
This came up a FaceBook memory
Does anyone else remember this, & how damned strange it seemed?

This was an Australian series, back in the 90s
'Let The Blood Run Free'

Interesting and that seems a feasible theory. Anyway, wait and see I guess.

And the cases are still coming to court ! So much Intel it's taking them years to prosecute.
