Andor, seasons 1 & 2. Despite not being a huge Star Wars fan recently revisted my youth and watched the first 3 films, The Empire Strikes Back was definitely the best (just IMHO), then Star Wars, thought Return of The Jedi was pretty lame to be honest. Remember thinking The Phantom Menace was trash so never bothered with that. Did like Rogue One though, haven't watched any others. Should've really watched Andor before Rogue One though. Andor is pretty good, even if your not a huge Star Wars fan like myself it's a really worthwhile watch. A lot deeper than the 3 films, lot to do with politics etc.

Might watch the animated series Clone Wars as I've read that this really good. Was never really a huge fan of anime, but after watching Arcane League Of Legends, which was fantastic, I'll give more of it a go these days.

Andor and rogue one are the best of the franchise for me and i would agree empire is the best of the whole lot of "main story " films with the ruddy ewoks making a laughing stock of the last , yes i know its aimed at kids but wtf ?
As far as prequels go yes phantom was a bit rubbish with the middle one a bit better and the last one is worth a watch for the fall of anakin .Dont get me started on the sequels ! i found them really bad especially the last one .

Just given-up of the TV Series Jack Ryan https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Ryan_(TV_series)

1/10
Predictable, obvious, bland.
But worst of all is the lead actor, no expression, bit like a plastic dummy. Same expression through entore series, pursed lips, expressionless.

Stuck at it through the entire 1st series but could not face the following series as I got some paint to watch drying.

I don't think it matters if you watch Rogue One or Andor first, they enhance each other so much that both are better after you've seen one. Andor is fantastic, at times you wouldn't even think it's a Star Wars series as it's so political/spy orientated. It's also devastating in terms of emotionally ruining you.

Clone Wars animated series I've been watchinging slowly through for a while, personally I think the much older Clone Wars short series is better but that's harder to find.

Maybe it doesn't matter what order you watch Andor or Rogue One. But after watching Rogue One first, whilst watching Andor, I couldn't help thinking that I know that the main character is going to die after this, after helping to up-loading the plans of the death star (in Rogue One) that are used in Star Wars A New Hope. Still it didn't really matter as there's so much more to Andor. I'll try and get hold of the older Clone Wars that you mention thanks.

Sorry about that. There is no spoiler covering on this site as far as I'm aware like Avforums. Just thought most Star Wars fans would've watched Rogue One (2016) before watching the later Andor TV series. Just as Rogue One was made way later than the 3 original movies, but happened before all 3. I'm sure on the internet they'll be information for somebody that has never watched any of the films or Andor the chronological order will be available. I'm not a real fan anyway, Andor is way deeper than all the films. Would recommend it to somebody that has no interest in the films at all to be honest. Would imagine the Star Wars label might be off-putting to some people, shouldn't be though as it's nothing at all like the original 3 films. or that Jar Jar Binks sh**e.

HBO American drama series...seven episodes and three in for me so far.Enjoying it

I watched the first episode last night. It was in no hurry, which I normally like but must admit to finding it a little frustrating. Almost like a one-episode prequel. That said, it showed promise and now we're actually on the starting line, it may go somewhere.

Blue Lights is back on and it’s still brilliant!!

I watched Frauds last night with Suranne Jones and Jodie Whittaker. OK so far and a bit of a different type of character for Suranne Jones.

It's got that worrying air of 'the actors looked like they were having fun making it' when, actually, I want to look like I'm having fun watching it.

Report back if it elevates itself above ok.... please.

I'm rewatching Tales from The Loop. It's the vibe that I like, and a 'vastness'. It's got a wonderful Philip Glass soundtrack, and is tinged with melancholy. Not dripping sadness, just an awareness that whilst life can be wonderful, there are also things that we have to get through - that shape us and make us who we are.

Station Eleven has a similar vibe. And is another fave of mine, Night Sky too. Indeed those 3 are praps my fave TV of recent years - purely for the vibe.

10 episodes of Classified on All4 (Walter Presents) is superb, mostly subtitled, with a smattering of English, almost randomly.

Canadian espionage thriller.

It's a slow burner, until about episode 5, and then it's full on. I personally thought good actors in the main, excellent script, and twist after twist after twist. I like to think of myself as seeing these things coming a long way off, but in this, that was not the case at all, which definitely added to the enjoyment.

Started Game of Thrones - mid way through Season 2. It has a slow start up, that I suppose lets you work out who is who, before they all start having sex or chopping each other up !

24 hours in Police Custody.
Pt1 last night, concludes tonight.
Bedfordshire, 3 shot to death, shocking in itself, then you (they, the Police) start putting the story together...shocking case of mental health (i think at this stage) gone away.

One to watch avidly but at the same time...ughhh, terrible.
