The female lead in Pale Mountains was also a fairly main character in The Red Door series too - quite a well known actor I think.
If you're into Italian gialli, Stranded (aka Black Out - Vite sospese) is worth a look. Series 1 (of 2) is on Walter Presents.

Mock The Week returned yesterday!

(It's on TLC, which seems to now be on Freeview12 - as of a few weeks ago - and is some part of the Quest TV Multiverse)

Haven't watched it yet, but the last couple of series on BBC2 were fantastic - the vibe/bants were unique, and they used a number of otherwise-neglected comedians. #marmite

And so was the second one

I think this series is better than the last so far.

Secret Level on Amazon. Never bothered, but my daughter is on her MSc Animation course, and the stuff that is produced now is amazing.

This series links in with computer games but the animation quality is incredible, especially on a 4k TV. Only shorts, 10-20 minutes each.

Could be wrong, but I thought I read that they filmed series 2 and 3 back to back - maybe misheard though.
I was wrong! I see they are talking about when filming will start - odd, could have sworn I read it a while back, but I must have misremembered, or it was another show.

I watched this just before Christmas, and absolutely loved it.
However, on the FB pages for Walter Presents, I would say I was very much in the minority
Most people really disliked it.
I liked it for the scenery, and the element of where they were, the surroundings, and the unfolding situation.
I found it really immersive.
I also liked the characters (One of the main actors was a fairly main actor in the phenomenal 'The Hunter' and also there was a 2nd guy from that show as well in this one) and the actors in the main.
There were some poor cgi moments, and a lot of unexplained things, but as we know, series 2 has already been shown in Italy, so hopefully coming to our screens later this year.

We did get around to watching Vigil Series 2, really good cast, and two well known lead actors - bit of dodgy CGI, around the whole drone thing, but aside from that, pretty gripping so far, 3 episodes in:

[World's Biggest Suranne Jones fan here:] seems a long time ago ... oh, Dec 2023 apparently! Yeah, really enjoyed both Vigils.
It would be interesting to watch S2 now in the light of drone warfare advancing soooooo much in the recent Unfortunate Geopolitical Disagreements - will the tech/CGI look hideously dated? Anyway, hope you enjoy it!
