I recently got some pedals for my road bike but have never used clip-ins before, but wanted to confirm what variant they are before I order some shoes online.

You need to save the image to an online photo site like photobucket.com then use the share facility to copy and paste it into the forum.

I have fixed the image for you.

They are MTB SPD pedals so you need 2 hole cycling shoes like this, which also show the cleats.

Did you get cleats with the pedals? If not here's a link to some cheap ones

They are SPD cleats.

Meaning you have a wide range of shoes to choose from, you could buy some road shoes (many road shoes will accept SPD as well as road style cleats, but double check the spec 1st), MTB shoes (look like road shoes but have tread on the bottom), leisure/touring shoes (look like walking boots sort of) or even sandals.
