What type of coffee ?

Some of the Taylors Of Harrogate coffees are exception, Obviously not that 'Lazy Sunday' one.
Worth noting that the Lidl black packaged brick coffee is half price this weekend.

Better than the gold, and the bigger Euro sizing makes it close to £1 per pack.

Arabica (preferably but rarely cafe Bom Dia from Brazil) made in an Italian stove top espresso maker.

Another for the Aeropress, with Lavazza Rossa as a staple but I also like the Tesco Italian stuff, though it's not as fine ground as the Lavazza, so I tend to put it in a cafetiere.


[First time I used the Aeropress, I followed their instructions (2 of their massive scoops) and enjoyed it so much, my daughter wanted to try some.
So I made some more and, as she only wanted a little, I had the rest. I was fairly buzzing a hour or so later as we went out for afternoon tea !!!]

Favourites are Ethiopian Harar Longberry and Yemen Matari, although the latter is extremely hard to find.

Yeah, you don't really need to put 2 scoops in. 1-1½ seems fine for most - although I do use 2 for the first one of the day.

Lavazza Rosso is my favourite make. Brewed either in a cafetiere or a simple filter machine to half espresso strength (i.e. Americano strength).

Don't drink a huge amount of coffee but I do like it to taste good when I do.
