The only way to cook Aubergine, ....

I give you roasted aubergine. Burnt-black skin, but the silky smooth, smoky-flavoured flesh is good eating. Brilliant for dips like Mutabbal - made with tahini like in Palestine, Egypt etc; or Yemeni-style, mixed with a salsa-like mix of finely chopped onion, tomatoes, coriander, and green chilli (summat like the Egg Plant Salad, half-way down this page, but with a lot more tomatoes!).

Hmm - I've probably underestimated; got stuck with things I've been doing for years. Off to try roasted aubergine in other ways.

... so I don't remember off-hand where I read about farmers being allowed to use pesticides of a type, of a strength, and at a dosage deemed entirely too much for any other vegetable...
Hmm - I'm a long way out of date. A fair number of the pesticides which were being used 10 years ago have been withdrawn ... initially from sale to amateur gardeners, and later from commercial use.

Ah well - I've been peeling carrots for so many years, I doubt I'll stop now.

Ingredients
One banana, one cup of almond milk one small aubergine (UK-speak). In North America, "eggplant". Agave nectar to taste (not truly raw, and optional)

Directions
Blend to your hearts content. Drink it cold. Post-blending notes. The recipe (as above) comes out with a taste that reminds me of unsweetened soy milk.
But why would you want anything to taste like unsweetened soy milk?
Just one of the many used over the years, when it was liquids only.

Try and see.

Thank you ... but no thanks.

I dread to think what sort of colour it would be. Veg are supposed to be veg; their shapes, colours, and flavours something to celebrate, in a merry dance of eye, nose and tongue. Hmm - now I sound like the OP.
