Just out of interest what do you keep in your seat / saddle bag.
The things I have gathered are from 25 years of cycling and running experience and at some point wished I had the with me, They include the following.
MOBILE PHONE , very small and light, matchbox size, £10 from Asda with £10 credit on, most fell runs state you must have a mobile in the kit check list.
£5 POUND NOTE.
4 GLUCOSE TABS
1 PAIN KILLER TAB
3 CHAIN LINKS
MULTI TOOL
SMALL CLOTH
Co2 PUMP + 1 EXTRA CARTRIDGE
SMALL LAMINATED CARD WITH EMERGENCEY DETAILS ON.
puncture repair outfit
All sealed in water proof bag.

Do you carry anything else ?

wow that's one hell of a saddle bag you have there, mine is so small it either fits under saddle or goes in back pocket.

It's one of THESE I've had it for a few years now and it's served me exceptionally well, I can switch it between bikes too within a few seconds, by buying a spare Rixen and Kaul QR seat post fitting and attaching it to the other bike.
