Horrible and expensive stuff. It tastes more like bread than meat.

If you're vegetarian then be a vegetarian rather than pretend to eat meat
Practically no one is a vegetarian because they don't like the taste of meat. It's generally for health, ethical, religious or environmental reasons. Quorn is compatible for all these reasons.

oh and when I have tried it, it's just not nice, texture or the way it takes on the taste of everything it's mixed with
Good point. Why should anyone eat something you don't like?

I was right about that saddle
We use it all the time and it is lovely.

Linda McCartney's sausages are quite nice, when I used to eat that sort of thing. My experimental days are over now. if it doesn't oink, it can't be in a sausage. I think I've had Quorn but if I recall it ain't cheap and I don't recall how it tastes and have no particular wish to re-discover it, plus the butcher doesn't sell it.

Space food, innit. Produced in great big slabs in a massive incubator. I eat it but I'm not a vegetarian and I don't pretend it's meat. It freezes well and it's quick and easy to lob into stuff.
