Looked at various rubber things on google but cant find it. I have a Pannier rack that attaches to the seat stem with 4 bolts. There was a strip of rubber inside to get good grip and protect stem but lost it (I have also seen these on the inside of light mounts for front bars... just cant seem to find what it is called so I can order one!
Whats the rubber bit called when mounting on a bike?

Leave the guy alone. He's new to this game. He won't know all the dodges and tricks that we do. We have years of experience on bodging fixes and getting round problems without resorting to buying expensive trinkets. He will learn but needs encouragement, not derision.
