Today every bloody thing you buy has a large complicated instruction manual
I've just bought a camera the instruction manual is 96 pages long, if I wanted to read I would have bought a book instead all I want is to take a photo

But only about four of those pages will be in English surely , which is very helpful if you are learning one or more of the other 23 languages !

You would injure yr hand.

Back on topic - What I find complicated is relationships with family etc.

If friends, acquaintances say things and I disagree with them, or if I am not sure what they mean, or if they seem to contradict themselves, we can still have an discussion about it. Relatives seem to go ballistic if I do the same sort of thing. Relatives cannot accept an alternative point of view.

Ditch 'em.

I did this and it's made life a lot less stressful.

I think you might be are right.

I will not bore you with frighteningly small details of what my sister-in-law tries to argue with me about, on the few occasions I see her. I refuse to get into an argument with her, I state my opinion politely and calmly and this seems to make her even more mad.

Don't know how the groupset heirarchy works, where the deuce the cables go for V-Brakes, and why it all has to have different mechanical advantages, over lock nut distances etc to the stuff I HAVE IN THE PARTS BOX ALREADY.

This week has been a bit of a learning experience. And something of a trial for the lads at my LBS.

What you up to Mr Secret Squirrel ????

Calculus. I just bloody hate it. I'd like to partially integrate Newton's face with my fist.

That's brought me out in a cold sweat, you'll be mentioning thermodynamics soon or transistor design and flip-flop gates and other equally nightmareish stuff.

I get on well with the in-laws, it's my own family I can't stand.

[Edit] My Sister in law can be pretty annoying though [Edit]
