Nowadays I volunteer at a community bike workshop and love every minute of it.

When I was paid to work I changed career several times from IT to HR to self-employed business consultant bluffing working my way up the seniority ladder without ever being found out as someone who never really took it that seriously, but making a lot of good friends that I am still in touch with.

I do Corporate Security for a big American company. I try to look after their expensive assets, their people, and their customers across this third of the world. And when someone bad eventially does a bad thing in my region, I investigate that and kick some arses accordingly and as appropriate. It involves a lot of dispersed places across Europe, India, Middle East etc so I travel a lot. (Or I used to before covid).

Before that, RAF (for a long time), Police, and I was also Head of Security for a big UK travel firm before my current job.

Service engineer, mainly metal detection and weighing equipment in food and pharma factories.

I used to do 40000 miles a year, but for the past five years or so that's down to about 25000.

No foreign travel anymore, apart from a week in Germany once a year, which suits me.

My last full time job was a self employed window cleaner,which i did for nearly 15 years. I now,or did up till the latest lockdown work part time in a retro(1920's to 1990's)clothing shop...and sometimes in the photographer's next door.
