Just add proper dairy butter to nice bread. (Maybe a bit of jam or honey.)

for me its peanut butter , butter and good bread but its the same ball park . good bread makes all the difference

Another old favourite is corned beef and sliced beetroot 😋

When I worked for a big company the sandwich that sold out first was always corned beef and branston

sold far better than fancy things with salad and stuff!

Not much I don’t like , however a favourite is salmon mixed with vinegar , pink or red ( if feeling flush). On a roll or nice farmhouse loaf . With copious amounts of butter , enough that you leave teeth marks ( if you have any teeth ) :-)
