At 1613g they are a tad lighter than the ultegra 6800's but with aero benifits .
They look pretty good too and that's all that really matters .

How about using your current wheels through winter before upgrading. I originally wanted to upgrade the wheels on my Giant TCR, and I still do, but not in a rush now as winter is here.

I wasn't planning on changing any wheels until next year, simply trying to get an idea in my head as to whether it is worth doing eventually and what wheels would be a good upgrade without breaking the bank! I'm very grateful for all the advice received.

No point whatsoever in changing the 105 cassette for an Ultegra, you won't feel any difference, except your wallet will be lighter. I had a 105 11-28 cassette as stock, changed it for a Tiagra 12-30 for the lower gearing. It performs exactly the same.

My main thoughts re changing the cassette were that it will eventually wear and will need replacing. I will stick with the 105 when the time comes if no advantage is gained from going to an Ultegra cassette.
