Green Dykes Lane is a hill, in that I have to stop at the top to catch my breath
Carr Lane is a slope, in that I can go up and over without stopping for a rest
The Mount is a mountain, in that I have to stop halfway up and get off and push.

If the bike is meandering side to side and the power is coming from the lower back rather than the legs, then's it's a hill.

Otherwise it's just a slope.

10 minutes into a Sunday morning ride it's not a hill but the same road at the end of a 100 mile ride and it's definitely a hill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4.5%-9.2% gradient doable on the top chain ring with an 11-30 cassette with an ave power of 417w. Completed the 3.92 mile course in 18m 43 seconds. Not a hill?

No just a long cage rear mech. Cassettes are shipping with large enough sprockets that given the same top chain ring you're mech limited on the bottom end triple or compact.

Winnats Pass, Snake Pass, Long Hill, Woodhead Pass, Blaize Hill, Old Brickworks, Cat And Fiddle, Axe Edge, Dumbers, Pyms Chair , Dead Mans Hill, Swiss Hill (and it's a little hill only, just cobbled) and the big daddy Holme Moss.
