Just blame Pat for getting her hosepipe out, and wanting rain as well.

She's been in Scotland far too long that yin.

She'll be putting the washing out in the snow next.

I got caught out on my bike earlier, about 1pm I was in Beith when it changed from sunny to heavy rain in the space of 10 minutes. At least it was warm(ish) rain, and I had my rain jacket in a rucksack. I know how my luck runs!!

I had similar, but it didn't rain for all that long, and wasn't cold. Just meant I got a bit wetter than I would have done from sweat anyhow, then dried back to that level long before getting home.

I've been in Birmingham for a couple of days and I can confirm that its really just English rain that's meandered north for a while (well you would wouldn't you) so its quite balmy rain. Enjoy

Never mind, mustn't complain - we had a nice week. I just hope it's not going to be a carbon copy of last summer; a nice week early on and then...... rain, rain, and more rain for the rest of the summer (and autumn, and winter, and spring.....).

I was camping over a long weekend, lovely weather, but over the entire weekend we were fretting about gardens drying out. Got back and all was well but yesterdays downpour was very welcomed!
