I'm off to Liverpool tomorrow for a few days R&R 🍺.
Expect some rain, Liverpudlians!
And Clyde Coasters will no doubt get some relief from the stuff 😅.
Maybe, but then it never stopped raining all of April, we had 10 dry days in May, that was it so far.Scotland had drier than average March, particularly in North and West.
Just sayin ...
My garden is drowning, the slugs are living their best lifeRain is just the predecessor to a well growing garden
I was going to post in this thread yesterday that, in spite of the rain, I have actually stayed dry on the commutes.
Today I got the soaking of my life!

I'm convinced that some friends in the South think we are lying when we tell them it has rained almost all the time since mid-Sept.
We've had plenty of rain down here over the last six months.
North West? I hope you mean north west of England.
No, I mean north west of mainland Britain. Being Scottish I am well aware of the BBC England bias, and SE England in particular.
It's all relative though. On here I tend to assume that we are mostly based in the UK. So NW means NW UK.. South means south of Birmingham.
If I was talking to people local to me, a southerner could be someone from Dumfries. North west would be Ullapool northwards.
The clue is in the word in boldThe BBC Scotland Weather feed is entirely about Scotland's weather (I use it when north of the borrrrrrder).
There is no BBC England TV channel either. Could it possibly be that in their arrogance they just assume that BRITISH Broadcasting Corporation really means England? Whereas us savages from the outlying bits need to be kept separate? There is no BBC Weather England feed
