When is it going to stop... Raining

There is no BBC England TV channel either. Could it possibly be that in their arrogance they just assume that BRITISH Broadcasting Corporation really means England? Whereas us savages from the outlying bits need to be kept separate?
In a similar way to how roads are really for motor vehicles, but cyclists are kicking up a fuss so we'll paint a narrow lane in the gutter of some roads to make it look as if we are doing something!

I was thinking this would cheer Eeyore up; Scotland get their own weather service, but England is not so lucky.

Once again I underestimated the donkey ...

We've gone back (or maybe forward) to November! Cold (not "cool", BBC), windy, frequent showers.....
No improvement in the forecast for the rest of the week.
After last year, I am genuinely fearing that we have already seen our "summer" , it was that nice week in May!

Ditto.

Had the heating on all day today.

Streaming down and cold.

Just past 4pm the sun decided to come out...

Yes, I wanted to put the heating on ... but I didn't ^_^
Waterproofs on the commute this morning, some light gardening between showers this afternoon.
Now the day has morphed into a nice evening, but I'm not going back out

Yes - that cold wind... My fingertips are still aching from windchill on my 60 km ride on Sunday evening!

It was damp and gloomy most of the day here but finally the rain stopped and the sun appeared. Unfortunately, the cold wind continued...

It would have been a lovely evening for a ride but I couldn't face the wind. I chose to walk to Lidl and Aldi instead to stock up. It is the first time that I can remember wearing long johns under Ron Hill Tracksters, a fleece, and a hat on a day in June, and I certainly did not feel overdressed!

It just seems almost continuous since last July that most rain free days are accompanied by a ridiculous wind

And a fair proportion of the non rain-free days as well

It is definitely strong winds that will be my abiding memory of this last winter and spring.

Wind is par for the course in the North East, to the point where it's a bit weird if there isn't any.

It's another lovely day on the Costa del South Shields!

I joked with my partner about the nice week being summer over. At least we managed to get 1 BBQ in

5 degrees when I set off for work this morning so it certainly feels like it's gone
