Reminded me of a picture from Midliferider yesterday.
How do you know it's not UK? Because the skies are blue.
We have been getting blue skies here too. Unfortunately, they often only last about 10 or 15 minutes!

Rumour has it that will be a 3 hour break from rain here this evening, and the wind will drop, and it will be a sweltering (by recent standards!!) 14 degrees...

I am sure that all that will have changed by the time that I have changed into my cycling kit though!

Won't be far from you next week, flying (not cycling) to Montenegro on Monday. Weather looks very good 😊

I didn't commute by bike today because it was raining stair rods and a gusty wind this morning.

But we did have a break in the rain after dinner this evening, so I went out for an hours or so ride, which was dry for about the first 10 minutes. The rest was being rained on, though fairly light for most of it.

I did get my evening ride in.

Things were going quite well until I saw that a spooky grey phantom cyclist was following me everywhere I went!!!

It freaked me out so I pulled over and did a Google search for "Can muesli served with soya milk cause hallucinations?" Apparently not!

Wikipedia reckons that this kind of thing often happens in warm countries. The official name for them is... shadows!

Yes, the sky was blue, and the sun was shining brightly. Fluffy white clouds were drifting overhead. But... in the far distance the sky was darker. Dark. Depressingly dark. Almost black... Black! BLACK!! Aaargh!!!
