Didn't go out for a bike ride today because of the forecast heavy thundery showers from midday onwards. Watched the Euros game instead. And of course - NO showers, in fact it has brightened up and looks like zero wind!!

I tried using anti-forecasting today... Since it has often rained recently when the forecast was for sun, I took today's forecast of greater than 95% chance of rain to indicate that it might in fact stay dry!Didn't go out for a bike ride today because of the forecast heavy thundery showers from midday onwards. Watched the Euros game instead. And of course - NO showers, in fact it has brightened up and looks like zero wind!!
I went out on my bike and, sure enough, after 20 minutes it was still dry.
After 21 minutes, it was not!!! I called in at Aldi then came home to dry out.
Tomorrow afternoon is supposed to be sunny. Maybe I can get a 2-3 hour ride in then without getting soaked?!

I managed to wash two cars, downstairs windows and the conservatory in between showers.
It's still too wet in the back garden - step ladders sunk into the grass by about three inches - there is no way you could sit in a chair on the lawn currently - well you could, but would be on the floor.

ANOTHER day for the house.......
Last night's forecast was for showers, so I've been up since 6am trying again workout the best window for a couple of decent hours for a 50k ride, but its been constant here all morning. By the time it dries up, the notion will have passed.
