Just curious, but what's in Turkey that is worth visiting?

I was going to go, but then I read this :-(

Went out this morning with every intention of a 50 Km September ride. Cool but sunny. On the best bike ie summer bike with no mudguards, caught a short shower just 10 Kms in, sheltered under a tree to put on my rain jacket then the heavens opened. It was Biblical for about 10 minutes. Needless to say the ride was cut short by 50% :rain:

Going to Sunny Grange for the weekend, hoping for better luck, might just fit the mudguards on the Grange bike.

The sun is over rated. Most of this summer - and spring - we've had scorching sun and temps in the high 90's, a bit of rain - or a lot - would be nice.

Come live in Scotland, plenty of rain here.
Our slugs are the size of hedgehogs
The hedgehogs don't grow as large up there. They've adapted to the local climate, and as a result don't grow as large as their southern brethren. This explains their size being closer to slugs.
Also they wouldn't want to be confused at a distance with that other northern piece of wildlife, the haggis. Which they may be if they grow too large.
