I just clicked on my name by mistake and came up with my own profile and found to my surprise that some people had even been bothered to visit it. It was very thin on detail so I guiltily added a bit more although the effect could perhaps best be described as indescribably boring.

Just what is one supposed to put? Writing loads looks vain and self-important so how do you get the balance right?

Anybody care to nominate themselves as the owner of a model profile which is an example to all of us?

Andy, just give us the same sort of info you'd say to the compere of Mr Universe - that's what I did.

Actually I thought you meant looking at your reflection when walking past a plate glass shopfront. Not me. Never. No really, never. Well, a little bit, I confess.

I look at other people's profiles to get to the link for "more posts by this author" or whatever it's called. I assume people look at mine for basically the same reason

+1, often if I recall someone said something about a subject I'm reading up on.

I wouldn't say it was boring, but there are glaring errors. It claims that one of your interests is History...

Every day, its the only way I know of keeping track of the posts I've made and searching for replys etc...or is there an easier way?

Yes, click on "My Account"

Scroll down to List Subscriptions, and click

This gives you a list of the threads that you have posted in. Over on the right hand side, is a small box. Click in this box for each thread that you would like to be notified if there is a reply.

Scroll down that page, and you will see the option for e-mail notification of replies etc. Choose that and then click "Go".
