Where can I purchase 'acetone'?

Hi, Im after at least 500ml for cleaning cement glue from tubular rims and tyres

Ive tried the chemist though the bottles just aint big enough

Oh I have Panel Wipe for cleaning new trucks and trailers, maybe I could use this?

I was going to say the chemist as Mrs S gets it sometimes for removing daft acrylic nails, but they certainly weren't 500ml bottles.

Panel wipe should work a treat though

Yeah, acetone also stinks, it knocks me sick, panel wipe however smells kinda nice :/ it'll work on rims, not sure if it;ll melt the tyres though?

Not sure myself TBH, have you got an old piece of tyre or tube you can try some on?

Sorry but is that not the posh name for nail varnish remover ? that Sh*t sure do stink and it almost knocks me out,Mrs ern1e buys that stuff from Boots the chemists ( claims this to be the best ever !!!) no 7 or some such it's called

Acetone is indeed nail varnish remover.
I'm sure you can buy it in 500ml bottles from any high street beauty outlet.
Try savers or Superdrug, cheaper than Boots.

Not exactly standard nail varnish remover, (but it will remove the stuff), but it is the stuff they use to remove those acrylic false nails, the acetone literally melts the stuff off. DAMHIKT

If you do go the nail varnish route, be careful and read the label as many are acetone free nowadays..
