Where can I purchase 'acetone'?

Haven't read the rest of the thread, but do be careful with acetone as its powerful stuff! Also don't smell it as you would normally smelll 'flowers'. You might do some damage to yourself. Wear a mask if you're planning on
handling it. It's also corrosive. (My dad used to work in a laboratory, so he knows his chemicals!)

Apparently Acetone ' is the only chemical that you use for cleaning rims and tyres, it works though a tiny bottle of nail varnish remover from the pharmacist dont go far :/ or am I missing something?

Odd the cycle shops and online retailers dont sell any?

Its the active ingredient in nail polish remover. The only reason I know about it is we use it to dye feathers and animal hair etc in fly tying.

Oh and it has a low boiling point lol
