Had a bit of a cough last night, went to bed early but couldn't sleep at all till after 2am, Eileen says I was burning up all night, so this morning I ring in work.........sick with a fever, my voice sounds like a transvestite dalek, and when I cough my lungs seem to be on fire...............off to see the quack at 9:50 don't feel well at all.

There is a lot of it going around DM. I have had a cough for a couple of weeks now. It's worse at night when I go to bed.

Girlfriend has just got over a bout of Laryngitis and my uncle has just had an x-ray to see if he's got a chest infection!

Well, back from the Drs and I have a viral infection but that's not the worry, my blood pressure is 98 the Doc took it twice as she wasn't happy with the first reading, my oxygen levels are good but the BP is through the roof

The bike should be built up today, so may be able to get a quick blast on it to clear the cobwebs, start getting out again now the bad weather has gone quiet

What's the other BP number? 98 is the diastolic presumably (the second number)...if it is the systolic the doc should be dancing

GWS - I would suggest that cycling today is not wise

She didn't say, but she has booked me in for more BP tests to see if its high because I am ill......as for cycling, I will just build the bike and stare at it

I am in the same boat. My new bike is nearly ready but I doubt I'll be able to ride for at least a month

Unfortunately if you rush onto the bike too soon, you may end up worse

Sounds rubbish, but good advice Vickster, as my head is pounding too, may just go for a powernap
