Had a bit of a cough last night, went to bed early but couldn't sleep at all till after 2am, Eileen says I was burning up all night, so this morning I ring in work.........sick with a fever, my voice sounds like a transvestite dalek, and when I cough my lungs seem to be on fire...............off to see the quack at 9:50don't feel well at all.
I was over in the Fens w/e before last visiting elderly parents - bro had a cold. I brought it back to Cheshire - hacking cough, felt horrible. 2 days off work this week. Now the wife's got it too. Taken me 2 weeks to even begin to feel on the mend. That's wet and soggy Lincolnshire for you.
