Where do you ride to?

I just take a look at google maps and try and find a route where i will have a tailwind on the way home.
From where i live there are a lot of lovely villages nearby but i do try to avoid vange and pitsea.:laugh:

Maybe pinch a few gps files from your local cycle clubs website if they have them? Or there are a few websites where local cyclists upload there gps files as well.
I ride regular loops here but even after riding them endless times Im still noticing little lanes off of them I don't know and occasionally I will just shoot off down one of them and see where I end up.

i have a mtb but i still enjoy following little country roads leading out of witham, i have a 9 mile route that i follow, with fast downhill bits and steep uphill bits and im only 16

Just go out and get lost. At some stage you will find a road back home. 2 months off and I would be seriously considering a tour. Maybe one of the national cycleway long distance routes?

Never considered geocaching. Thats a great idea!
