I'm looking to get a cycle carrier for my car as I can see it becoming a chore having to keep folding the rear seats down (hatch) and remove the front wheel to get it to fit in ok. Plus of course I'm limited to carrying only one bike in the back of the car and it would be nice to take two for a day out somewhere.
I don't have a towball (and can't afford the £250+ it will cost to have one fitted) so I think it's going to have to be a rear mounted carrier.
I've found the Thule ClipOn High 9105 for 2 bikes online which looks excellent but again is slightly more expensive than I want to pay at the moment, plus I'd have to wait for it to be delivered
So, I wondered what people's experiences are with the ones sold in Halfords and Argos as ideally I'd like to pick one up today if I can
