Miele or Sebo, for large floor area, Henry for the more complicated bits.

Not A Dyson fan useless rubbish, plus the man himself is buying lots of farm land to avoid tax.

Dyson is ok but the filter cleaning is a pain, the Henry you can buy a re-useable bag, works well but a bit messy when emptying.
Back in the day, hoover bags were easily emptied. It feels wrong to throw away a Henry bag as they're so robust. It takes about 20 minutes, and a load of dust up your schnozzer, to empty the feckers though.

I wonder if Vernon's butler empties or bins Henry's bags. 20mins of dust up the nose while emptying a bag sounds horrid, but throwing away perfectly good bags seems wasteful.

I have a Henry and recommend it, powerful and reasonably priced.
Has an expensive Dyson before, would'nt buy another one.

Henry gets my vote. Although I have a handheld dyson at work and for awkward bits and stairs it's great.

Ours is over 10 years old and still working brilliantly. Bought one for the office which is about 12 years old now and also still works like new.

Miele here. All good. We've had a couple of Dysons but, as someone has already said, bits keep breaking. Never again.

Dyson did get manufacturers to rethink design for the better tho'. Pity the materials used are cr&p
