Vehicular or physical?
In whatever the way
Vehicular or physical?
The van glanced me but I'd hardly consider it a strike as I stayed upright, police thought that and the angle of vehicle was worth mentioning in the report. However it was his actions outside the van that he was charged with.Another numpty here, even after watching it twice,
Agree it is a good result but just to clarify,
Did the driver hit the cyclist?
I like the way you informed the employer, very effective strategy. Well done for being able to see it through
A bit more detail on that aspect. I looked up the companies details and found the MD was a keen trail rider, after making contact I sent him the video, whilst informing him the police will be involved. MD gave the driver a chance to explain but he made up a load of rubbish (he wasn't aware of the camera) which resulted in him being unemployed within 24 hours of the incident.
I asked the MD what course of action would he consider 'best to be avoided' and he said a viral video with his company name all over it. I assured him that could be avoided.
+1Sensible man.
fair play that he was given a chance to explain himself - a chance to come clean and take some responsibility, blew itA bit more detail on that aspect. I am confused. Did the van driver physically hit the cyclist when he was out of his van to warrant a prosecution and conviction for assault?
